Why nutrition coaching

Changing your nutritional habits is not complicated, but it is not easy either. There is so much information available! And watching the number on the scale is nowhere near enough to tell you what’s happening with your body and where to start.

Even Body Mass Index (BMI) is incomplete because it’s based on averages and formulas. Pictures are a great measure of your aesthetic changes, but they give no indication of real strength, power or endurance. Logging and tracking habits, nutrition, sleep, and performance are amazing and necessary but still not the whole picture.

In order to provide Performance-oriented Nutrition Coaching, we do ALL of those things with you and for you. It’s a high-touch experience that keeps you accountable every step of the way!

With our customized nutritional coaching services and meal plans, you can supercharge your efforts and reach your goals twice as fast.

How it works

We begin with an InBody scan and body measurements as well as high-quality pictures to help track changes. Systematically logging important habits of daily living and your responsiveness to those adjustments will help us keep an eye on the details. We meet regularly to discuss and update lifestyle changes. But we also get baseline metrics for three key areas of performance: 1) strength, 2) power, and 3) endurance. Just like your "before pic", we use a combination of the activities/assessments to create a snapshot of your current performance and abilities.

When we re-visit these metrics over the course of 3 months, this approach allows us to see if the nutritional and lifestyle changes you are making are paying off aesthetically as well as in areas of strength, power, and endurance. If you are losing too much weight and it is negatively affecting your lifts, we can make immediate nutritional and lifestyle adjustments. If you are getting stronger but not leaning out, we can again adjust those accordingly. No formulas or averages here. It's all about your body.
